Good news for fans of Artist Trading Cards!
Kirsten Lapping Designs are running a RAK ATC Challenge (that's Random Act of Kindness for those ATC newbies among us!)to encourage first time crafters to have a go at making and swapping the addictive mini cards!
They're issuing a challenge to send them an ATC with at least one shade of purple and the theme is "Skills" – this could be to show a skill that you possess (including crafts), a skill that you would like to learn or are learning or maybe show how you have taught someone else a skill!
"The skills theme can be depicted by images, words or anything really," explains Kirsten Lapping. "It's a chance for people to feel proud about themselves and hopefully encourage more people to craft. We will then be adding these to a Sahri, which can be worn and wall displayed! We will also give people an opportunity to make RAK ATCs at our November Skill Challenge Event" (Kirsten's a busy lady and also takes on monthly skills challenges where she swaps her craft advice for a host of new skills, from scuba diving to rugby!).
If you think that you would like to get involved, send your ATCs to Kirsten Lapping Designs, RAK ATC Craft Challenge, NE BIC, Sunderland Enterprise Park East, Wearfield, Tyne & Wear. SR5 2TA or visit Kirsten's website, www.kirstenlappingdesigns.com to find out more!
