We love The Cumberland Pencil Museum in Keswick, so we were happy to hear that the museum is offering free entry to help entertain kids displaced by the terrible floods in Cumbria.
Alex from the museum told us:
"After the awful flooding in Cumbria, it has been brought to our attention that mums and pre-school children have been displaced from their usual meeting clubs and societies, especially in Cockermouth and Keswick, and that everyone is looking for a little light entertainment at the moment.
So we at the Pencil Museum, Keswick, have taken the decision to help by opening up our doors and are offering free entrance until Saturday 19th December. (This excludes Saturday,12th and Sunday, 13th of December as a special visit by Santa will be taking place. The proceeds will help support the Keswick Lions.)
We have a fun a “12 Days of Christmas” trail around the Museum to entertain the children, and there will be art activities on a daily basis, making Christmas cards and decorations."
