Stitch & Craft 2010
Olympia II, London
18th to 21st March, 10am to 5.30pm (closes 5pm Sunday)
Come and meet the PaperCraft inspirations team at the biggest, best and brightest show this spring! We’ll be joined by hundreds of exhibitors, who will have stands packed with all the latest crafty kit – we guarantee you won’t leave empty handed! There will be loads of free demonstrations and workshops too, and these are just some of the highlights you can’t afford to miss!
Meet Dawn Bibby!
Papercrafting queen Dawn Bibby, QVC’s leading craft expert, will be at the show on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th March. She’ll be sharing her papercrafting tips and tricks at daily sessions in the Demonstration Theatre at 12.15pm and 3.15pm. Dawn will also be celebrating her birthday with us, at a special Birthday Party on Friday 19th! Unfortunately, the party is already fully booked, but don’t worry – you’ll still be able to meet Dawn and ask her questions at the Future Publishing stand at 11am on both days.
DoCrafts demonstrations
DoCrafts' Clare Curd will be doing two different sessions in the Demonstration Theatre each day. At 11am each day, she'll be presenting ‘It’s a Man’s World – Card Ideas for the Men in your Life’, and at 2pm, ‘Fabulous Florals – Inspiring Girly Card Ideas’. The demos are packed with brilliant card-making ideas and they're free to attend, but book now as tickets go fast!
DoCrafts experts will also be teaching three different hour-long workshops each day: card-making with Sheila Halliwell, scrapbooking with Beckie Dreyer and a brand new workshop on jewellery-making with Becky James! Whether you’re a newcomer or a more advanced crafter, you're sure to pick up handy tips and new techniques, as well as getting to check out all the latest products!
Exclusive to subscribers
If you subscribe to the magazine, or if you’re a member of DoCrafts, you’ll be allowed exclusive access to the DoCrafts Club Lounge, where you can see the latest episodes of Creativity TV, enjoy sneak previews of new products coming soon, and meet the DoCrafts team. There will be drinks and snacks available, so even if you just want a quiet sit down and a cup of tea, the Club Lounge is the place to be! It’s located on the lower ground floor.
Discover Decopatch!
You may spot some strange creatures while you wander around the show, and that's because the Studio Partnership will be showing a number of Decopatch creatures, including a giraffe and a cow! You can meet the animals on the first floor by the Demonstration Theatre. Decopatch is a process where a lightweight paper, printed with over 150 designs, is torn into pieces, then applied to a mould using a special glue varnish. Fantastic results can be achieved in no time! You can work on wood, ceramic or metal, and the finish is so smooth you’d think it had been painted! It’s great fun for all ages, and you can learn more about Decopatch from the Studio Partnership on stand FA31, and meet the Decopatch paper designer, who will be demonstrating throughout the show.

Of course, there’ll also be lots to see and do for knitters, cross stitchers and fans of all types of crafts at the show, making it an unmissable event! We can't wait to see you there…
