Production line card making!
For most of us, making cards isn't something we're asked to do in bulk very often! Perhaps we get busy at Christmas, or there's a particular month in the year that might have more birthdays than others. Some of you may even have been lucky enough to produce cards for a craft stall.
Sometimes, though, there might be a very special occasion...such as a wedding, where you're suddenly looking at the prospect of making lots of the same card! I've been busy making my own wedding invitations over the past few weeks and have finished them just in time. I began by thinking I may have hundreds to do when I'd compiled the list of guests, but realised slowly (after much thinking and more chocolate) that most of those people were couples...so there were only half to produce!
It got me thinking about how you all cope with such a mass production of cards? I managed to bribe myself every ten cards or so with the promise of some chocolate and a nice cup of tea. How do you keep going? Do you get fed up of the sight of the same card? Or do you decide to vary each card to keep yourself sane and hope that people don't get together and compare notes? Let us know how you do it!
