Guest designer Stephanie is here, with a new card project you’ll love! It uses the free stamps and papers from issue 126, so pop to the shops and get your hands on a copy today! “I was really inspired by this lovely kit,” says Stephanie “I hope you are too.”
You will need:
Your free Lily Rose stamps and papers
Pink dotty ribbon
Pale brown ink pad
Mini glue dots
Wide double-sided tape
Die-cutting machine & scalloped oval die
Stamp the girl on to some plain white card then colour in – I used ProMarkers which I chose to tone in with the patterned paper. Then cut around her, leaving as small a gap as possible.
Stamp the greeting onto another bit of blue background card then cut out, again leaving small gap around the words.
Choose a patterned paper from the paper stack and, using wide double-sided tape, stick it to some card – scrap card will do as long as it’s smooth. Cover the whole sheet of paper without leaving any gaps. Be sure not overlap the tape but line it up so the edges are touching and the taped area covers the size of card you want to make.
Die-cut the border from the centre of your card.
Stick the blue background card behind the aperture using double-sided tape.
Using foam pads, stick the scalloped border to the card so that the design matches up. Stick the girl into the centre of the aperture, again using foam pads.
Tie a small bow with ribbon and stick the bow and buttons in place with mini glue dots.
Mount the whole design on a white card and round the corners using a corner punch.
Thank you Stephanie, we love it!
