Follow these steps to bring Shari’s cute reindeer card to life

Step 1
Stamp the Birds and Tree image on to a panel of Pool paper using VersaMark ink, and heat emboss with white powder.

Then stamp the Holiday Background text over the embossed image for a watermark effect. Wipe excess ink from embossed area with a piece of kitchen paper.

Step 2
Use the Birds and Tree embossing folder over the design with a die-cutting machine, to create a raised effect. For a great video on how to use the fab new Stamp & Emboss and Stamp & Die-Cut sets, take a look at this Hero Arts video!

Step 3
Tear Snow Layering paper to create a snow bank, and fix it to the panel. Mount it all panel to a piece of kraft paper, and then on to a top-folding card blank.

Step 4
Wrap the bottom portion of the card with red ribbon and tie in a bow.

Step 5
Stamp the reindeer using the tuxedo black ink pad on to Snow Layering paper. Use the coordinating cutting die with a die-cutting machine to cut out the reindeer – it’s helpful to keep the die from slipping by using a piece of low-tack masking tape!. Then colour in your reindeer. I used Copic markers or you could use ProMarkers or coloured pencils.

Step 6
Stamp the trees with Grass chalk ink, and use the coordinating dies to cut them out. Stamp two snowflakes with Soft Pool ink on to Snow layering paper, and cut them out with the coordinating die too.

Step 7
Finish by assembling your card, using sticky foam pads to fix the reindeer, trees and snowflakes to the card panel. Add pearls to embellish.
