Peace (pictured above)

Create a subtle look with the die-cut sentiment by die-cutting in the same colour as the background and layering on patterned paper. The holes in the wooden stars made them perfect for hanging from the die-cut foliage. Simply cut strips of plain paper and glue then amongst the foliage. Fussy cut snowflakes and stars add extra decoration to the stars. A length of ribbon and bow across the top cover all the messy ends.

Ready steady craft tag

Happy New Year tag

Make the most of your papers by fussy cutting elements and sentiments like this stag and heart sentiment. Don’t be afraid to mix patterned to create a unique look. Use a small piece of ribbon folded over to create a tag in the corner. Add fussy cut elements to the centre of a wooden shape and use it to hold the ribbon loop in place. Let your sentiment stick out of the side of your tag, it adds extra interest, as does the wreath negatively die-cut out of the background.

Merry Christmas

Double-sided papers are perfect for creating this card where the paper is peeled back to reveal the sentiment. The hearts on the paper match the wooden shape and a die-cut scalloped heart around the shape adds extra colour. Use the embellishments to hold the peeled back paper in place and add a bow attached sideways in the corner for an extra cute touch.

Warm wishes

Mixing die-cut and stamped foliage creates a nice focal point around the central ribbon. The die-cut berries add a touch of colour. The sentiment has been die-cut in white card then rubbed with a little brown ink to compliment the stamped foliage.

Ready steady craft cracker gift box

Cracker gift box

There are lots of easy to follow tutorials online to make cracker gift boxes. Double-sided papers work well for this and the hearts inside this box match the sentiment and decorative tag. Triple embossing a heart wooden shape with gold embossing powder gives it a whole new look and looks cute hanging down from the bow that keeps the box closed.
