Our card making challenge this month is to use vellum so I couldn’t resist coming up with another idea to rise to this challenge!
I’m trying to whip up some fast and easy Christmas cards in the evenings, to boost my stash. (Then save the weekends for designs that’ll take a bit more time!) I rustled up this one last night in just 10 minutes – I think it might be a record for me!
The gold patterned vellum that I fixed to my card front with brads is by Papermania for Docrafts, ‘Oriental Collection’. Even though it’s not a festive-designed vellum, I thought the gold pattern was really stylish for a quick Christmas greeting. It’s just finished off with a chipboard topper by Cosmo Cricket, ‘Ready, Set, chip – Mitten Weather’.
We’ve been having some great feedback on this month’s Masterclass guide by designer Kathy Racoosin, with all the tips and advice you’ll need for stunning card projects using vellum. The magazine’s on sale now so take a look and don’t miss out! Meanwhile, have a peek at Kathy’s blog for even more vellum ideas – you’ll be wowed at her talent!
