Love interactive cards? Learn how to make a slider card with a beautiful whirling butterfly. with Debbie Simpson’s penny slider card design from issue 149.
This project, by Debbie Simpson, will show you how to make a circular shaped track for the penny slider – created using the largest and third largest Spellbinders Nestabilities circle dies.
To make this card, the track needs to be slightly narrower than a penny. That way, the coin can hook on to each side of of the track and it won’t fall out easily.
We’ve used a butterfly slider here, but you could easily replace it with another animal or object to create your own unique cards – a football or a rocket could transform this into a fun card for a child! Take a look at more great slider card ideas using our free penguin printables, too!
